CASHIER MANAGER
Full-time position
What You Will Do:
Staffing & Team Management:
• Helping with recruitment, interviews, and staff development
• Attend job fairs, review resumes, and assist in hiring
• Creating and managing weekly cashier schedules
• Training and supervising the cashier team, assigning duties as needed
• Training and supervising cashiers, including setting schedules and assigning duties
• Conducting performance evaluations, check-ins, and offering regular feedback
Daily Operations:
• Supporting day-to-day till operations and monitoring breaks
• Delegating extra tasks during slower times and coordinating support with other departments
• Keep lineups moving and call for packing support or open additional tills as needed
• Monitor business flow and seasonal patterns to forecast scheduling needs, ensuring adequate staffing during peak periods and adjusting during slower times as needed
Cash Handling & Procedures:
• Reconciling cash registers and addressing any discrepancies
• Overseeing proper cash handling and accounting procedures
Customer Service & Support:
• Resolving customer concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Approving returns and helping manage escalated transactions
Leadership & Communication:
• Sharing updates via email, text, and the Communications Book
• Communicating and supporting understanding of Greenland’s policies, procedures, and protocols
• Ensuring team compliance with workplace expectations and standards
• Acting as a point of contact for cashier team concerns or questions
• Onboarding and orienting new team members to policies, procedures, and workplace expectations
• Escalating issues appropriately and providing follow-up when needed
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth store operations and cross-team support
• Leading from the floor by supporting cashiers, assisting customers, and monitoring service flow throughout the shift
• Fostering a positive and professional team environment through clear and respectful communication

FACILITY OPERATIONS GENERAL LABOURER
Full-time position
What You Will Do:
- Ensuring that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes having an enthusiastic and approachable attitude.
- Maintenance of all indoor/outdoor areas including garden / lawn in summer and winter snow removal.
- Inspecting all equipment on schedule and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained.
- Unload shipments of product when they arrive.
- Co-ordinate and perform set up for special events.
- General labor and construction tasks as required.
- Loading bulk landscape products using a skid steer.
- Could include being part of a delivery and planting crew.
What You Will Bring:
- Welding experience is an asset.
- Bobcat / Skid-steer experience an asset.
- General construction experience.
- Experience with facility equipment and systems, such as compressors, furnaces, and mechanical infrastructure. Including general machinery maintenance and repairs an asset.
- Excellent endurance and physical strength (can lift 50lbs minimum).
- Must be flexible to work some evening and weekend shifts as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of extreme weather conditions.
- You must possess a valid driver’s license.
Branches Restaurant
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVER
Full-time and part-time positions to work seasonally in our restaurant
What You Will Do:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station and work area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using a POS system
- Upsell and promote menu items and specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
What You Will Bring:
- Valid Pro-Serve certification is required
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and preparation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or kegs if required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
