Garden Centre
CHRISTMAS SALES ASSOCIATE / TREE DECORATOR
Seasonal position, full-time and part-time
What You’ll Do:
- Decorate Christmas trees and bring festive décor to life using Greenland’s signature method
- Engage with customers in a warm and friendly way, offering attentive and knowledgeable service
- Share decorating ideas, styling tips, and product knowledge to help guests bring their holiday vision home
- Support your team while helping to deliver an inspiring seasonal experience
Training Provided
Every team member will take part in Trim the Tree Training, covering:
- Greenland’s decorating techniques
- Christmas floor layout and products
- Delivering top-quality customer service and memorable guest interactions & experiences
Availability & Commitment
- Positions are seasonal, full-time and part-time
- Must be available for at least three shifts per week, including evenings and weekends
- Consistent availability is required from October through December 8th, and beyond as needed
- Time off is limited to no more than two consecutive days in November (our busiest season)
CASHIER
Seasonal position, part-time
What You Will Do:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Process customer purchases efficiently and accurately with a friendly attitude
- Deliver outstanding customer service, making every interaction special by helping with product inquiries and providing recommendations
- Manage cash, credit, and debit card payments on the Point-of-Sale system
- Safely and efficiently wrap and package fragile décor or gardening items for customers
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Stay informed about current promotions, policies, and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and perform routine cleaning duties in the store to ensure a fresh and welcoming environment
- Ensure pricing accuracy by verifying product prices and discounts
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and store entrances to keep everything running smoothly
- Collaborate and assist with the setup of in-store special events, ensuring every detail contributes to an outstanding customer experience
- Work alongside an incredible team to create an unforgettable spring shopping experience
What You Will Bring:
- A highly motivated, self-directed, and hardworking individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy
- Basic math skills for cash handling and calculating transactions
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
- Effective communication skills, fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Excellent time management skills to oversee multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
Branches Restaurant
FOOD & BEVERAGE SERVER
Seasonal position, part-time
What You Will Do:
- Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and serve beverages according to established recipes and standards
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the beverage station and work area
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using a POS system
- Upsell and promote menu items and specials
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
What You Will Bring:
- Valid Pro-Serve certification is required
- Previous experience in the food service or hospitality industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order taking and preparation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy trays or kegs if required
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
